How to understand permissions and attribution when downloading or reusing a catalogue resource.
Dataset-specific terms
The publisher’s licence and documentation govern each dataset. Review that record before redistribution, commercial use or creation of derivative work.
Attribution
Where attribution is required, identify the publishing institution, dataset title, Uganda Open Data Platform record and the date accessed.
Third-party material
A dataset may contain material governed by separate rights. An open catalogue entry does not remove third-party copyright, privacy or confidentiality obligations.
Platform material
The platform interface, branding and documentation are separate from the licences attached to publisher datasets.
